  3. Payment is required at the time of registration, either the full tuition fee (minerval) or a €50 deposit, by bank transfer.

For Belgian, European, and non-European students with equivalent status, the tuition fees are €836/year for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

For non-European students without equivalent status, the tuition fees are €5,010/year.

It depends on the student’s profile (secondary school diploma obtained in Belgium or abroad and year of graduation, previous higher education, gaps in studies, time spent abroad, etc.).

You can consult the list of documents required for registration via the following link: https://www.ichec.be/fr/inscriptions

Any student holding a Belgian secondary education diploma (French-speaking or Dutch-speaking), a European or International Baccalaureate, or a diploma issued by a Belgian-curriculum school abroad, does not need to request an equivalence. In all other cases, an equivalence must be requested in order to study in higher education in the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (FWB).

The equivalence request must be submitted no later than July 15 to the FWB Equivalences Service. Here is the link: http://www.equivalences.cfwb.be.

No, there is no entrance exam. Any student who meets the admission requirements can be accepted.

After the online pre-registration and an initial review on our side, the student recognized as non-financeable will receive an email requesting that they provide as soon as possible: a detailed motivation letter, along with all transcripts from the years of higher education they have completed. The student will then be informed of the decision made by the authorities of the Haute École.

After registration, requests must be submitted exclusively via the Moodle site before October 15 of the current academic year. The decision will be communicated after review of the file. You can consult the procedure for requesting exemptions at the following link: https://www.ichec.be/fr/dispenses-et-valorisation-des-acquis-de-lexperience-vae.

Adults, whether graduates or not (employees, self-employed, volunteers, or job seekers), can have their professional experience recognized, provided it totals at least 5 years. This is done through a file review (please note, the procedure is lengthy). For more information, please visit: https://www.ichec.be/fr/dispenses-et-valorisation-des-acquis-de-lexperience-vae.

At a Haute École, the training is more practice-oriented and closely linked to the professional world, with a stronger international focus — notably through intensive language learning and participation in numerous exchange programs abroad. As a human-scale institution, student support and guidance is an additional advantage.

The two programs are Business Management and Commercial Engineering, offered at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

Both Bachelor’s programs are also available in a bilingual French/English format: in addition to language courses, this track includes 15 credits per year of courses taught in English.

There are no official prerequisites, but it is recommended to have a B2 level in English.

In addition to the core disciplinary knowledge in management, the Commercial Engineering program is structured around the following areas: sciences, quantitative methods, and digital transformation of businesses. Naturally, a strong background in mathematics and sciences is required.

Yes, the ICHEC transition Bachelor’s degree provides access to Master’s programs at other institutions, subject to an application review.

Yes, a preparatory complementary program of up to 60 credits, called the bridge program, allows access to the Master’s programs. Only the Master in Business Analysis is directly accessible, without the bridge year, provided a few additional credits are completed.

The language level is demanding, but from the first year, there is an interactive class course that allows students to review everything they learned in secondary school. Around this course, a variety of pedagogical tools are provided to review and deepen certain subjects (conversation tables, grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing…). These workshops allow students to progress at their own pace according to their strengths and weaknesses to reach the final level.

From Block 1, the program includes English for all, and Dutch or German. Any student officially exempted from Dutch must take either a beginner German course or an advanced German course if they already speak the language (e.g., German-speaking students).

From Block 2, students must choose a third language at beginner level: German, Spanish, Italian, or Chinese.

In Belgium, internships are generally unpaid, except for work-study programs.

A first observation and integration internship (4 weeks in February) must be completed in Block 2, either in Belgium or abroad (unless the student participates in the humanitarian “Housing Project”).

A second internship, linked to the final thesis (minimum 3 months), must be completed in Master’s Year 2, either in Belgium or abroad.

Yes, it is preferable for the student to be actively involved in their training, including the internship search process. However, if the student is unable to find a placement, they can make use of ICHEC’s portfolio of partner companies.

Practically every year, students have the opportunity to go abroad.

ICHEC has developed numerous collaborations with over 150 international partners located in Flanders, across Europe, and around the world.

  • After Block 1: Summer School in the United States (during July).

  • In Block 2: Internship abroad or humanitarian project called the “Housing Project” in India or Africa (during February).

  • In Block 3: Erasmus exchange programs in Flanders or abroad (one semester).

  • In Master’s Year 2: Erasmus exchange programs and internship-thesis projects abroad (one semester).
