Start of the Academic Year for New First-Year Bachelor's Students
ICHEC is pleased to welcome its new first-year Bachelor's students on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Each year, the start of the academic year for first-year students at ICHEC marks the beginning of a new academic adventure. This day is specially designed to give them all the tools they need to start the year successfully and to help them discover their new environment.
Presentations, interactive small-group workshops, and the distribution of course materials are on the agenda.
First-year Bachelor's courses will officially begin on Monday, September 15.
If you are a first-year Bachelor's student, we expect you on the Montgomery campus at 8:45 a.m. on September 12, 2025.

Start of the Academic Year for All Students from Second-Year Bachelor's to Second-Year Master's
The start of the academic year for students from Year 2 Bachelor's to Year 2 Master's will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025.
For some, classes will resume immediately, allowing them to dive straight into the heart of the subject matter.
For others, integration activities are planned to foster cohesion and start the year on a dynamic and collaborative note.
This day is an opportunity to get back into the rhythm, reconnect with classmates, and prepare for a year full of challenges and achievements.
The schedules and locations will be posted directly on this page. It is therefore essential to check it carefully before the start of the academic year.
The Academic Year Opening Ceremony
Each year, ICHEC organizes a ceremony that symbolically marks the start of the new academic year.
This ceremony takes the form of an inspiring lecture on a societal issue that resonates with ICHEC’s mission and values. It is a special moment to take a step back, reflect together, and open up the debate on themes that shape our future.
This year, on Tuesday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m., we will have the pleasure of welcoming Sébastien Bohler, Doctor in Neuroscience, who will invite us to reflect on our role and collective responsibility in saving the planet.
This ceremony is open to everyone: students, faculty, administrative staff, and any external guests interested in the topic.
