ICHEC and the World

ICHEC and the World
At ICHEC, internationalization is a priority — offering every student a learning journey enriched by experiences beyond borders.

Heading for International Horizons

In a world where professional boundaries are fading and economic challenges are increasingly global, ICHEC makes internationalization a top priority. The school supports its students in building an academic and professional path enriched by experiences beyond borders.

ICHEC can count on a community of 17,000 alumni, 15% of whom live and work abroad — a powerful asset for our future graduates! With 150 bilateral agreements in over 60 countries, the school fosters an ambitious strategy of exchanges and international collaboration.

This dynamic approach yields concrete results: 65% of our students gain international experience during their studies.

International from Day One

From the very first year, the international experience comes to life:

  • After Year 1, students can take part in a 3-week Summer Program in the USA.

  • In Year 2, they can choose between an internship in Belgium or abroad, or join a solidarity project (Housing Project) in India, Benin, or Burkina Faso.

  • In Year 3, it’s time for the big leap: an Erasmus exchange at one of our 150 partner universities around the world.

A Deep Dive into International Experience at Master’s Level

The Master’s program strengthens this international dimension:

  • In the second year, students spend their specialization semester abroad before completing their final internship in an international company.

English-taught programs, targeted tracks in European or intercultural management, and a specialization in International Management all offer opportunities to deepen their understanding of global challenges.

Three Double Degrees to Boost Your Profile

ICHEC offers three prestigious double degree programs for those looking to take their academic journey even further:

  • ICHEC–ESAN: In partnership with ESAN Graduate School of Business (Peru), this two-year Master’s program includes a first year in Brussels and a second year in Lima.

  • ICHEC–HEC Montréal: A DESS in Montréal followed by a Master’s at ICHEC, granting dual recognition in both Quebec and Europe.

  • ICHEC–Excelia La Rochelle: A Master’s in Global Luxury Management and Innovation, split between Belgium and France.

At ICHEC, openness to the world isn’t an option — it’s a core belief. Every student is encouraged to embrace other cultures, think globally, and fully experience international opportunities as a foundation for building their professional future.
