Objectives and contribution to the program

This course provides an introduction to the key concepts and frameworks of strategic management, with a focus on applying these concepts to real-world situations. Students will develop strategic thinking skills through case studies, class discussions, and/or a hands-on project. This course aims to build competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, and effective communication, aligned with the school’s competency-based approach.

Prerequisites and corequisites

Fluency in English (comfortable with a B2 level) in both written and oral communication

Content

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to key concepts and frameworks in strategic management, with a strong emphasis on their application to real-world situations. Students will develop strategic thinking skills through: Practical case studies and/or class discussion and/or hands-on project

This course aims to present a broad and integrated vision of strategy and strategic management in organizations. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including:
- External and internal environment analysis
- Strategic options and competitive advantage
- Strategic decision-making and ethical considerations
- Innovation and strategic leadership
- Strategy implementation and evaluation
