Five internship programmes are available at ICHEC, at different stages of the student's course.

What type of intern and for when?
Business engineering
16-day internship in February from Monday to Thursday
Students perform a range of tasks related to the daily management of a department, in line with the skills acquired up to the 2nd year.
The internship is completed in one of the 4 axes of engineering, that is to say in quantitative methods, IT, sciences or finance. It is unpaid. At the end of the academic year, the company receives a copy of the internship report.
Business management
20-day internship in February from Monday to Friday
Students perform a range of tasks related to the daily management of a department, in line with the skills acquired up to the 2nd year. It is unpaid. At the end of the academic year, the company receives a copy of the internship report.
Business engineering
Project management is the method used to assess the internship and the thesis. Students must find a solution to a tangible issue within the organisation related to one of the 4 axes of engineering, that is to say in quantitative methods, IT, sciences or finance. Students must demonstrate a clear sense of responsibility by managing their project autonomously.
Business management
60 days minimum divided into 2 separate internship periods, to be completed in the same company or 2 different companies
- During the 1st period, the Master's internship lasts a minimum of 20 days. Students work 2 days per week between 15 September and 15 December. This 20-day internship can also be completed early between 1 July and 15 September.
- During the 2nd period, the Master's internship lasts a minimum of 40 daysstarting from February. It can continue into April and May. Students involved in the ERASMUS programme can start the internship in January.
The aim is for students to enhance their business knowledge while developing skills in a specific management field. Students will participate in a real project or contribute to the day-to-day management of a department, using this experience to enhance their skills for their thesis.
Minimum of 20 days up to a maximum of 3 months
Students with a degree in another discipline gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a business or organisation in order to develop new management skills. Depending on the specific requirements of the student's programme and the expectations of the company, this internship can be full or part-time from October to the end of December and/or February to May inclusive. The internship concludes with the submission of an internship report to the company.

Work placement students
Our Business Analyst Master's programme organised in partnership with ECAM incorporates work-linked training. This training is centred on digital transformation. We train managers to be able to optimise, formalise and automate management processes by employing the most effective digital technology available.

Job Fair
