Microeconomics is an introductory course that provides students with the foundations of economic analysis. The course covers core topics including supply and demand, consumer and firm behavior, market structures such as competition and monopoly, and welfare economics. Throughout the semester, students will also explore applications of microeconomic theory to real-world policy issues.
Prérequis et corequis
No formal prerequisites are required. However, prior completion of a general course in economics is beneficial.

Méthodes pédagogiques
The course will be delivered through weekly lectures (three hours per week). These sessions provide students with the opportunity not only to learn the core material but also to ask questions and actively interact with the tutor.
Mode d'évaluation
Student performance will be evaluated through a single final written exam at the end of the quarter.

The main learning materials for the course are the lecture slides, which are made available on Moodle. These slides are designed to be self-sufficient for exam preparation.
