Objectifs et contribution de l'Unité d'Enseignement au programme
Equip students with disciplinary knowledge in Responsible Management (RM) and cultivate a critical, nuanced posture for acting under paradox and uncertainty. The course positions RM as a managerial logic expressed through global performance, open governance, and organizational development. In a complex system of interdependencies (including temporal trade-offs), students learn to recognize and work with paradoxical tensions (e.g., economic vs social; individual vs collective; short- vs long-term) and to argue ethical, sustainable and just managerial responses.
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the following knowledge and skills:
In terms of knowledge:
1. Understand the major trends and current issues in management (e.g. in connection with digital transformation) as well as their prospects in terms of overall performance, open governance and organizational development;
2. Know the characteristics of responsible management
3. and knowing how to position them in relation to alternatives in terms of management logic
4. Mastering critical thinking from a responsible management perspective (ethical and sustainable)

(2) Designing desirable futures
- By identifying and understanding the social and habitability issues of the earth on the basis of scientific resources
- By mobilizing existing and emerging models, theories and technologies
- By generating innovative and creative solutions to the earth's social and habitability issues
