Teaching resources

To carry through their study project successfully, ICHEC students must be able to rely on teaching tools and resources.

ICHEC Campus platform

ICHEC's e-learning platform, ICHEC Campus, enables all students to

  • access all teaching sites developed by its professors. Those sites contain all sorts of educational resources: course notes, exercises, links, forums etc.
  • consult the electronic notice board to keep abreast of current events: schedule or classroom changes, work deadlines etc.

ICHEC Campus is accessible both inside and outside ICHEC premises through Internet.

Furthermore, a new educational platform is being developed: ICHEC Moodle.

Some professors are already using this new platform, which is richer and more flexible than ICHEC Campus. In the long run, all ICHEC Campus courses will migrate to ICHEC Moodle.

WiFi and IT rooms

The Computer Centre (CTI - Centre de Traitement de l'Information) puts the necessary computer resources to students' disposal and ensures they are in good working condition. Our Centre offers:

  • A free access to a secure wifi network absolutely everywhere on both sites.
  • A network of free service multi-function copiers for photocopies, prints and scans of documents.
  • An electronic mailbox (firstname.lastname@student.ichec.be) as an essentiel contact medium between students and the institution, providing them with official information for example.
  • Three rooms equipped with up-to-date PCs. All computers are fitted with the latest software needed by our students. These ROOMS are used not only for IT classes but all classes that require an IT medium, such as courses in quantitative measurement, language, accounting, etc.
  • A reading and research room. It is located next to the library on Montgomery campus and is fitted with numerous PCs.
  • Computer hardware in all auditoriums and classrooms: PCs, data projector, internet connection and in some cases, webcam, interactive board and/or smartpodium.

Moreover, students enrolled at ICHEC can get free access to the Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus suite office during their course of study.

Students as well as all ICHEC IT resource users are invited to read and comply with the IT Charter.

Course syllabi

  • general or specific objectives
  • essential course requirements
  • assessment method
  • methodology, teaching and documentation material
  • general course layout
  • bibliographical references used to develop the course content

The descriptions of individual course units are available for each study year on the BEP's website via the IchecCampus platform: www.icheccampus.ichec.be
